For art students, sketching is typically required as part of their coursework. In product design domains like industrial design, sketching is also employed as a communication tool. You can use any drawing medium to create sketches. The phrase is most frequently used in reference to graphic work created using a dry medium, such as pastel, charcoal, graphite, pencil, or silverpoint. It can also be used to drawings made with oil paint, watercolor, marker pen, and pen and ink.

PENCIL SKETCHING

Pencil sketching is a form of visual art in which a person uses various drawing instruments. Instruments include graphite pencils, pen , and ink, various kinds of paints, inked brushes, colored pencils, crayons, charcoal, chalk, pastels, various kinds of erasers, markers, styluses, and various metals (such as silverpoint).

DOODLE ART 

Doodle Art is a fun way to draw beautiful and original designs, with cute and child-like characters or random and abstract patterns.
Doodles are simple drawings that might be abstract shapes or have a clear representational significance. It’s the simplest task to do and simple to do with everyday materials like paper, pencil, and pen.

CHARACTER DESIGN

A character designer (or character artist) creates the entire concept, style, and artwork of a character from scratch. This often includes a deep look into the character’s personality to develop a visual idea of the character’s physical features.

PORTRAIT SKETCH

A portrait is a painting, photograph, sculpture, or other artistic representation of a person, in which the face and its expression is predominant. The idea is to portray the person’s likeness, character, and even mood.

SHADING AND LIGHTING

Shading is used in drawing for depicting levels of darkness on paper by applying media more densely or with a darker shade for darker areas, and less densely or with a lighter shade for lighter areas.  Light patterns, such as objects having light and shaded areas, help when creating the illusion of depth on paper.

LIVE MODEL SKETCH

 Live model drawing sessions provide an opportunity to train the mind –to draw what they observe quickly and capture a vision. Timed sessions are held.
